Victoria Ubani, Face of Niger Delta Season 3

Victoria Ubani has emerged the winner of Face of Niger Delta Cultural Beauty Pageant Season 3. She clinched the crown on Saturday, October 10, at Sheer Grace Arena, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where the grand finale of the pageant took place.

The new Queen was decorated by Mrs. Imabong, Senior Manager, Youth, Culture, Sports & Women Affairs, NDDC Akwa Ibom, and presented with the keys to a brand new kIA Rio 2014 salon car. Ubani’s bank account will also be credited with a N1 million cash prize and an undisclosed  monthly salary package for the duration of her reign alongside a leader­ship training trip to Sun City, South Africa.

The overjoyed Queen who was overwhelmed and speechless thanked the organizers amidst tears.

The Managing Director NDDC, Akwa Ibom, Dan Abia, who was represented by his Special Assistant, George Turner, reiterated the commission’s commitment to supporting youth oriented projects and congratulated the Kelly Godwin Attah led Gold House Production team for pulling off a world class event.

Meanwhile, Ekemini Umoren of Akwa Ibom State and Sharon Ozuru of Rivers State emerged first and second runners up respectively. The event also witnessed performances from cultural troupes from all the states of the Niger Delta which showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region. Judges for the pageant included Elisha Attai, Jennifer Eliogu, Joseph Ben­jamin and Yinka Nathan.
